This policy applies specifically to the Skyalo Travel Guide app in ChatGPT and its read-only tool build_travel_connectivity_guide. The broader Skyalo website and services are covered by the general Skyalo Privacy Policy.

1. Who is responsible

Epic Star LLC, the publisher of Skyalo Travel Guide ("Skyalo", "we", "us"), is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected] or through our contact page.

2. Categories of personal data the tool receives and produces

The categories below may be personal data when they identify you directly or can reasonably be linked to you or your ChatGPT request.

When ChatGPT invokes the tool, it may send the trip inputs you provide:

• destination or country names and number of days at each stop;
• number of travelers;
• a broad usage profile: light, balanced, heavy, or remote work;
• whether hotspot use is expected;
• a coarse device-readiness choice: confirmed, unsure, or not supported; and
• the requested language or locale.

The tool returns the following generated outputs to ChatGPT:

• trip duration and estimated total and daily mobile-data needs;
• per-destination data estimates and suggested connectivity mix;
• risk level and readiness signals;
• questions to confirm, a preparation checklist, safe fallback guidance, and limitations.

The tool does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, account identifier, payment details, passport information, precise location, authentication credentials, full ChatGPT conversation, or raw chat history. Please do not include this information in destination fields.

3. Technical data

Our network and hosting systems may process limited technical request data, such as IP address, timestamp, HTTP headers, user agent, request origin, response status, and security or error events. We do not intentionally place tool inputs or outputs in application logs.

4. How and why we use data

• to calculate and return the travel connectivity guide you requested;
• to keep the endpoint reliable, prevent abuse, and investigate security or technical incidents;
• to comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

The guide is produced by deterministic calculations in server memory. The public tool does not query Skyalo's product catalog, carriers, advertisers, analytics services, payment services, or other travel providers. We do not use tool inputs or outputs for advertising, marketing profiles, sale of data, or training our own AI models.

5. Recipients

• OpenAI: ChatGPT sends the selected tool inputs to the app and receives its outputs. OpenAI processes your ChatGPT conversation under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Infrastructure and security providers: hosting, network, and security vendors process limited data on our behalf only as needed to deliver and protect the endpoint.
• Authorities or professional advisers: only when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers, connectivity providers, or merchants.

6. Retention

• Tool inputs and outputs: processed in memory for the request and not stored by the Skyalo Travel Guide application after the response completes.
• Technical request, security, and error logs: retained under our control for no longer than 30 days, then deleted or aggregated, unless a specific incident or legal obligation requires longer retention.
• Privacy and support requests: retained for up to 24 months after closure to document the request and our response, unless law requires longer.

OpenAI controls retention of your ChatGPT conversation and other data in its systems. Use ChatGPT's data controls or contact OpenAI for those records.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can choose not to invoke the app and can remove or disable it in ChatGPT.
• You can limit the trip information you provide to the fields listed above.
• Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent applies.
• You may complain to your local data-protection authority.

Send a request to [email protected]. We may need to verify your request. Because the application does not retain tool inputs or outputs, we may have no app-side copy to retrieve or delete.

8. Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted transport, origin restrictions, and data minimization to protect the service. No Internet transmission is completely risk-free. Our providers may process technical data in countries other than yours; where required, we use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

9. Children

Skyalo Travel Guide is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this app.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the tool or our data practices change. We will publish the revised date on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the app's listing or review materials as appropriate.
