Northern, central or southern Vietnam?

On a Hanoi–Da Nang–Ho Chi Minh City itinerary, travel days count too. Keep tickets and your next accommodation address offline, and choose eSIM validity that includes the journey home.

Five stops from north to south
Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City are separate itinerary stops. Listing them does not establish continuous mobile coverage between cities.

Three different arrival points
HAN is Hanoi's Noi Bai, DAD is Da Nang and SGN is Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat. Send your driver the airport code on your ticket, not just the country name.

Taking a sleeper train? Prepare for the morning arrival

The north–south railway passes through Hue, Da Nang and Nha Trang. Before boarding, save your ticket, arrival station and accommodation contact offline; check departure and arrival dates separately.

Keep HAN and SGN separate

Noi Bai serves Hanoi; Tan Son Nhat serves Ho Chi Minh City. Flying into one and out of the other means two different airport journeys: save both and include your final day in the plan's validity.

Before you travel: Vietnam

Which networks are available with Vietnam plans?

The current catalogue lists MobiFone (4G), Viettel Mobile (5G), and Vinaphone (5G). Check your selected package before purchase: the combined country list does not mean that every tariff accesses every operator.

Will I have internet throughout the Hanoi–Ho Chi Minh City train journey?

The railway's existence does not establish your plan's coverage along the entire line. Save tickets and your next address in advance; do not schedule a work call around the journey without checking connectivity arrangements.

Which of these airports is in central Vietnam?

DAD serves Da Nang. HAN serves Hanoi and SGN serves Ho Chi Minh City; use the code on your actual flight when arranging a transfer.

When should I install my eSIM before travelling?

Check the selected tariff’s activation trigger, as rules can differ. If validity starts on installation, installing early uses part of that period; if it starts on first connection to a supported destination network, you can prepare the profile beforehand.

Does the plan also include neighbouring countries?

Only if every country on your itinerary is explicitly included in the selected plan. Review the available regional alternatives and check each stop in the product’s coverage list before buying. A region name alone does not confirm coverage in a particular country.
