São Paulo, Rio or Salvador: keep the details handy

Airport meetings need a flight code; city walks need an exact address; the next city needs its own booking. Save place names in Portuguese so you can match signs and messages from your driver.

Three distinct city stays
São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador are separate itinerary stops, not one resort area. Include domestic flight days when choosing a data package.

In São Paulo, check GRU or CGH
Guarulhos (GRU) and Congonhas (CGH) are different airports. The city name alone is not enough to arrange the right transfer.

São Paulo CongonhasCGH

São Paulo connection: one airport or two?

Compare the airport codes on both flights. A GRU–CGH journey is not an internal Guarulhos terminal transfer; arrange ground transport and allow time appropriate to your booking.

Walking through Pelourinho? Pick a precise meeting point

Pelourinho is Salvador's historic district, with museums, squares and restaurants. Save a specific venue and its Portuguese address for meeting after a walk, rather than just the district name.

Before you travel: Brazil

Which networks are available with Brazil plans?

The current catalogue lists Claro (5G), TIM (5G), and Vivo (5G). Check your selected package before purchase: the combined country list does not mean that every tariff accesses every operator.

Can I use GRU and CGH interchangeably?

No. Guarulhos and Congonhas are separate São Paulo airports. Send your driver the airport code and your flight number.

Is Pelourinho in Rio de Janeiro?

No, it is Salvador's historic district. If you visit both cities, save separate accommodation addresses and meeting points for each.

When should I install my eSIM before travelling?

Check the selected tariff’s activation trigger, as rules can differ. If validity starts on installation, installing early uses part of that period; if it starts on first connection to a supported destination network, you can prepare the profile beforehand.

Does the plan also include neighbouring countries?

Only if every country on your itinerary is explicitly included in the selected plan. Review the available regional alternatives and check each stop in the product’s coverage list before buying. A region name alone does not confirm coverage in a particular country.
