From Cairo to the Nile: keep meeting points handy

An airport pickup, boat boarding and hotel transfer are different appointments. Save confirmations and organiser contacts separately: a city name does not replace a terminal or boarding location.

Stops for different parts of the trip
Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada help break a journey into stops. This list does not establish coverage on the water, along the road or inside your room.

Arriving in Cairo: confirm the terminal
At Cairo International (CAI), arrange the meeting around your flight's actual terminal. Save the flight number and driver's message before leaving arrivals.

Nile cruise: ask for the boarding point, not just the city

The official tourism site describes sailing between Luxor and Aswan. Before the transfer, ask for the boat name, boarding pin and organiser contact, and keep the booking offline.

Meeting in Cairo: the terminal matters

Tourist offices in terminals 2 and 3 are listed separately. Avoid an agreement to meet simply “at the airport”: confirm your flight terminal and a specific location with the person collecting you.

Which networks are available with Egypt plans?

The current catalogue lists Etisalat (5G), Orange (5G), and Vodafone (5G). Check your selected package before purchase: the combined country list does not mean that every tariff accesses every operator.

Can I rely on continuous internet during a Luxor–Aswan cruise?

A tourism description does not establish uninterrupted mobile service for your plan on the river. Check arrangements with the organiser for essential calls and save tickets and meeting points in advance.

Is Cairo's tourist office in only one terminal?

The official list includes separate offices in terminals 2 and 3. That does not determine your own flight terminal: check with the airline and agree on a meeting point.

When should I install my eSIM before travelling?

Check the selected tariff’s activation trigger, as rules can differ. If validity starts on installation, installing early uses part of that period; if it starts on first connection to a supported destination network, you can prepare the profile beforehand.

Does the plan also include neighbouring countries?

Only if every country on your itinerary is explicitly included in the selected plan. Review the available regional alternatives and check each stop in the product’s coverage list before buying. A region name alone does not confirm coverage in a particular country.
