What should I save before a Bangkok connection?
Check BKK and DMK on both tickets. If you change airports, save the terminal address, booking and route on your phone so you can open them offline.
Don Mueang publishes information about transfers between the airports. Check current boarding requirements and schedules on the airport website before travelling.
Bangkok, the north or the beach: how much data?
Use your phone's data history to estimate maps and messaging. For video calls, uploads or laptop work, check the selected package's allowance, hotspot support and speed restrictions.
Before leaving Bangkok for Chiang Mai or Phuket, download the map area and booking confirmations. These destinations are itinerary suggestions, not confirmation of coverage at every hotel or throughout the journey.

Questions before your Thailand trip
Which networks are available with a Thailand eSIM?
The current catalogue lists AIS (5G), DTAC (5G), True Move (4G), and TrueMove H (5G). Check your selected package before purchase: the combined country list does not mean that every tariff accesses every operator.
My flight arrives at DMK. Is that Suvarnabhumi?
No. DMK is Don Mueang; BKK is Suvarnabhumi. Use the airport on your ticket when booking a transfer. Connecting between them requires a ground transfer.
Can I use an eSIM for work in Phuket?
Choose an allowance for your usage and check tethering support if you need a laptop. Before important video meetings, confirm Wi-Fi at your accommodation and arrange a backup connection: destination coverage does not guarantee service at an exact address.
When should I install my eSIM before flying to Thailand?
Check the selected tariff’s activation trigger, as rules can differ. If validity starts on installation, installing early uses part of that period; if it starts on first connection to a supported destination network, you can prepare the profile beforehand.
Will the plan cover onward travel in Asia?
Only if every country on your itinerary is explicitly included in the selected plan. Review the available regional alternatives and check each stop in the product’s coverage list before buying. A region name alone does not confirm coverage in a particular country.
